The face is exposed to external irritants mainly without protection. The skin on the face reacts to this involuntarily with redness, dryness, feelings of thightness and pimples. In addition to external influences (e.g. cold, warmth), internal influences (e.g. diseases) also most notably play an important role in the development of sensitive and irritated skin.
